Abstract
All solid-state lithium thin film batteries with olivine cathode materials on polyimide substrates were fabricated by radio frequency (RF) magnetron sputtering. The X-ray diffraction patterns show these thin films have the phase of cathode materials with an ordered olivine structure indexed to the orthorhombic Pmna space group. The olivine cathode thin films deposited on polyimide substrates exhibit the 14.7 mu Ah/lambda m.cm(2) discharge capacity. Therefore, we expect that all solid-state lithium thin film batteries are applicable as a power source of the glucose sensor.
