Abstract
We have obtained all-optical wavelength conversion over the range of 60 nm, for the first time, using a gain peak wavelength-shifted semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) integrated distributed feedback laser diode. The broadband a wavelength conversion is demonstrated using a 2.5 GHz pump signal. The response of a 10 GHz mode-locked pulse is also investigated.
