Abstract
Measurement of picosecond laser pulse width using autocorrelation method with a LiNbO3:MgO crystal was demonstrated. Room temperature non-collinear phase matching was possible with a MgO-doping concentration of 2 mol%. Pulse width of the fundamental beam (wavelength; 1064 nm) of our mode-locked Nd:YAG laser was measured to be 35.2 picoseconds when we assumed a Gaussian temporal pulse shape.
