Abstract
V2O5 supported AIPO4-5 molecular sieve with different contents of V2O5 have been characterized by X-RD, TPD, EPR, IR and diffused reflectance spectroscopy. There was strong interaction between the adsorbed vanadium species and the AIPO4-5 surface during the calcination step. The V=O stretching vibration band in supported V2O5 appeared at 923 cm?1, indicating that surface vanadium species is located at the basic sites on the AIPO4-5 surface. According to the diffused reflectance spectra of the catalysts with low V2O5 content, the vanadium species supported on AIPO4-5 surface was mainly in a distorted tetrahedral symmetry. However, upon increasing the V2O5 contents, crystalline V2O5 was also detected. Most of the properties including catalytic properties of the the vanadium-supported AIPO4-5 were similar as to those of VAP4-5. ? 1991, Elsevier Science & Technology. All rights reserved.
