Abstract
This study investigates the synthesis of lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) nanoparitcles using continuous supercritical hydrothermal synthesis. LiFePO4 particles were characterized in SEM, XRD, BET, particle size analyzer (PSA) and charge/discharge testing. LiFePO4 retained well crystalline structure and nano size (7-25m2/g for BET surface area.) The LiFePO4 delivers reversible capacity of ~ 140 mAh/g at a current density of C/10 after carbon coating.
