Abstract
A convenient and rapid extraction, the HS method was developed to determine VOCs in biological fluids. In addition, the HS method validation was performed to demonstrate the suitability of the proposed methodologies for the qualitative and quantitative determination of VOCs in a wide range of concentrations. The developed HS method is more sensitive than the HS-SPME method for determining VOCs in biological fluids by gas chromatograph / mass spectrometer. Besides, the HS method takes shorter time to reach equilibrium than does HS-SPME. Comparison of sex difference corresponded to the group of the industrial site and the groups of the control site having a different tendency (Fig. 3). The specifics of the tendency (of sex difference) chloroform 43.3% and benzene 70.3%, and wide range of concentration; chloroform 0.05 ~ 5.82 ng/mL and benzene 0.07 ~ 2.08 ng/mL, were detected in industrial site.
