Abstract
Metabolomics helps to characterize endogenous metabolites which can be affected by the response of biological functions against altered phenotyping. Although gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) offers high chromatographic resolution as well as the capability to identify unknown compounds with public libraries, a major prerequisite for GC-MS analysis is often needed to further expand the range of lipoidal compounds accessible with a confident database, which is considered analytical properties.
