- Abstract
- In home-network system, UPnP Network is widely
used because of simple usage. However, UPnP
network is only based on TCP/IP and working in the
same subnets. Many applications need extended
communication. In this research, we implemented a
UPnP bridge which binds two different networks into a
virtually single UPnP network. This allows a control
point to use devices even if registered in the other
network segment. Furthermore, the bridge protocol
has non-IP abstraction communication, which is able
to widen UPnP network to non-IP network.
