- Fe3O4 is one of the attractive candidates for alternative anode material of lithium ion batteries due to its high capacity, low cost, non-toxicity, and environment-freindliness. However the continuous SEI (solid electrolyte interface) formation leads to the high irreversible capacity loss and the poor cyclability of Fe3O4 electrode during charging-discharge cycling.
