- Although drug eluting stents have been successful to prevent coronary restenosis, few studies have reported on the role of paclitaxel release kinetics, regarding smooth muscle cell prolifereation, migration and extracellular matrix formation. The aim of this study is to evaluate the release kinetics of paclitaxel with the addition of various additives.
