Abstract
The vitality of bioaerosols generated from a nebulizer is not confirmed by the optical density (OD) measurement. An Ultraviolet Aerodynamic Particle Sizer (UV-APS, model 3314, TSI) is a high-performance, particle spectrometer that measures the aerodynamic diameter, the scattered light intensity, and the fluorescence of airborne particles. In this study, we characterized the bioaerosols generated from a nebulizer using a UV-APS and a spectrophotometer.
