- In this paper, we introduce an abnormal sound detection system. This system has two main
technologies: sound source localization and sound classification. In the sound source localization part, we used four microphones to find direction values in azimuth and elevations of sound sources using TDOA (Time Delay Of Arrival) method. We also constructed a classifier to distinguish abnormal sounds. We applied cepstral-based features such as Mel-frequency Cepstral Coefficient since they provide better classification accuracy than other features.
