Abstract
To model the relation between the frequency of the unusual dip and the incident angle, electric fields are recalculated with the same source excited at the same position. The radiated electric fields are saved at 26 receiving points with relatively small distance step of 8 mm. Then the relation between the frequency of the unusual dip and the incident angle is modeled and an approximately linear relation is observed. The incident angle increases as the dip frequency decreases. The relation implies that the frequency of the unusual dip depends on the location of the source and each receiving point since the incident angle increases as the receiving point moves away from the ingested-source. Therefore the electromagnetic propagation characteristics and the amplitude variations must be considered during the development of a capsule endoscope because those characteristics may effect on the error rate of the transmitted images and the selection of the location of external receivers, etc.
