Abstract
In the future, robots will be become more complex for various services. Accordingly, the possibility of faults increases in robot components and robot services. Therefore, it needs to check the status of components to improve the reliability of robot services. OPRoS (Open Platform for Robotic Service) is a robot S/W platform for distributed environments. In this paper, we propose an event manager to check component's status using the eventing function of the UPnP(Universal Plug and Play) technology. And, it is applied to the OPRoS platform.
