Abstract
Pt-Sn catalysts supported on Al-modified MCM-41 showed higher propylene yield and lower coke formation rate than unmodified Pt-Sn/MCM-41 and Pt-Sn/Al2O3 catalysts for dehydrogenation of propane combined with selective hydrogen combustion. The improvement in catalytic performance was greatest on the catalysts by the addition of 30 wt% Al. Added Al species increased the dispersion of Pt and effectively suppressed the coke accumulation.
