dc.description.abstractTheranostic nanoparticles based on hyaluronic acid (HA-NPs) were successfully synthesized. Biodistribution and tumor targeting characteristics of HA-NPs were evaluated with NIRF imaging techniques. Pegylated HA nanoparticles (HA-NP-Ps) were applied to tumor imaging and therapy. It was demonstrated that the HA-NPs could deliver anti-cancer drugs and release the drugs at disease sites, resulting in increased therapeutic efficacy and reduced side effects. This system can be used as a platform technology to detect and treat various tumors.-
