- The presence of POSS–PLLA additive showed better dispersion of POSS in the polymer matrix and may enhance the crystallinity of PLLA as a result of improvement of mechanical properties. Also, the protein adsorption data demonstrated the biocompatibility of these nanocomposites. These nanocomposites can be used as medical materials such as fully biodegradable stent platform.
