- ZnS nanopartices have been extensively studied during the last decade due to their unique optical and
electrical properties, which are come from quantum confinement effect. In this study, ZnS nanoparticles
on the monodisperse spherical silica particles (ZnS@silica) were synthesized and covered with silica
layer on its surface (silica@ZnS@silica). Their optical, structural properties, surface morphology, and
quantitative analysis were investigated by PL instrument, XRD, SEM, TEM, EDX, respectively. The
trend of optical properties-photoluminescence were examined by the regulation of sulfur vacancy.
