Abstract
The ceramic artificial joint is widely used in total hip replacement because it has a low coefficient of friction and low foreign-body inflammatory response. However, ceramic suffers from a high risk of fracture due to its brittleness and low ductility. To reducing the risk of fracture, evaluating of the stress distribution in the ceramic artificial joint after THR surgery is important. This study was simulated about ceramic ball head under in-vivo like condition using finite element method and confirmed the region of stress concentration
