Abstract
We reportthecharacteristicsofaTi–In–Sn–O(Ti–ITO)multicomponentelectrodepreparedbyco- sputteringofITOandanataseTiO2 targetsforreducinghigh-costindiumcontentintheanodelayerof organicsolarcells(OSCs).Thedependenceofelectrical,optical,structural,andsurfacepropertiesofthe Ti–ITO multicomponentelectrodesontheRFpowerwasinvestigatedindetail.TheoptimizedTi–ITO (80WTiO2 co-sputteredITO)electrodeexhibitedalowsheetresistanceof18.06 O/square,ahigh averageopticaltransmittanceof80.61%andarootmeansquareroughnessof2.40nm.TheanataseTiO2 phase intheITOmatrixpreventsthebixbyitestructurefromattainingthepreferredorientation, producingasmoothsurfaceoftheTi–ITOelectrode.Moreover,theOSCwiththeoptimizedTi–ITO anode showedanopencircuitvoltage(0.60V),shortcircuitcurrent(8.33mA/cm2), fillfactor(63.99%) and powerconversionefficiency(3.18%)comparabletothoseofOSCswithareferenceITOelectrode. This indicatesthattheTi–ITOmulticomponentelectrodeisapromisingindium-savingmulticomponent electrodethattoreducestheindiumcontentinITOelectrodesforlow-costOSCs.
