- Microfluidic cell culture chip consisted of two PDMS layer was successfully fabricated using soft lithography.
Well structure was applied to isolate shear stress on the bottom of well, and well height was determined by 3D computational model.
Fixed number of cells were seeded by cell trap pillar, thus experimental error by cell seeding density could be excluded.
In the microfluidic perfusion cell culture, extracellular environment modified by media flow rate affected cell proliferation, viability, and morphological change.
When the NDV was 500, the proliferation rate of CHO-K1 cells was significantly enhanced during cultivation of 36 h.
