Abstract
A number of civilization are threatened by international terrorism and increased use of immediate explosive devices (IEDs) in terrorist attacks. In order to prevent terrorist attacks, many researcher have developed sensor system which is able to detect hidden bombs in mail, vehicles, aircraft and so on by finding explosive relatedchemical agents such as trinitrotoluene (TNT), dinitrotoluene (DNT), and research department explosive (RDX). Their research focus point is to develop analytical system, which has high sensitivity, selectivity, and fast response time. Recently, there has been growing interest in the development of micro/nano-technology-based devices for detection of explosive related-chemical agents in gas phase because these can be utilized for portable explosive detection in public places. One of the micro/nanotechnology- based devices, cantilever sensors, has been used to detect chemical targets in air and liquid environments due to its excellent sensitivity [1].
