Abstract
Methanol can easily decompose into water and hydrocarbon, and it has been used as a liquid precursor in synthesizing carbon nanotubes (CNTs) [1]. Graphene growth was carried out by using the evaporated methanol in low pressure chemical vapor deposition (LPCVD) system. The decomposed water was regarded as an etching reagent for graphene growth.
