dc.description.abstractThis article presents an automatic three-dimensional segmentation method to extract facial skin on computed tomography image. Segmentation is an essential procedure in medical image processing and it has been manually performed by experts. We proposed a multi-phase segmentation model in three-dimensional version to extract facial skin, which is fast and simple to implement. In numerical results, we demonstrated the efficiency of our method by comparing with manually segmented results.-
