- In this study, we proposed a method for assessing the image quality of color DH, which was related to color reproduction.
In order to examine color reproduction, we have examined color differences by simulation and we have investigated color difference using optical system.
If either a spatial frequency in SLM decreases or angle of light incidence increases, the color differences filtered by the SLM also increase.
The spatial frequency and the angle of the incidence influence the color reproduction.
The two parameters were considered as significant factors for evaluating image quality of color DH.
It is possible to improve the color reproduction of DH by properly controlling the factors.
The results obtained in this study are expected to be an important point in assessing image quality of color DH.
