- The standardized synthetic platforms for the production of industrial interests have been developed and implemented in microbial cells. However, most synthetic tools have been designed and constructed for model organisms such as Escherichia coli and Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Corynebacterium glutamicum is well-known industrial microorganism in amino acid production. In this study, we established a synthetic biological platform, CoryneBrick, which a collection of E.coli-C. glutamicum shuttle vectors with different inducible promoters, and antibiotic resistance markers in a framework of BioBrick standard parts for controllable gene expressions in C. glutamicum. This platform could be used as a useful engineering tool for Corynebacteria industry.
