- Based on the results of multivariate statistical investigation using OPLS-DA and PLS-DA model,
we have identified several phospholipids such as lysophosphatidylcholines (LysoPC),
phosphatidylinositol phosphates (PIP), phosphatidylcholines (PC), and phosphatidylserine (PS)
that are distinct from the control group. Additionally, we have found the trend of up/down
regulations of those identified lipid metabolites that would be helpful in elucidating their role in
lipid metabolism such as in Land’s cycle and provide good basis in elucidating the endogenous
metabolic pathway of the natural product. We believe that our results will provide good basis
for detailed understanding of Aster glehni’s effect on the lipid metabolism.
