Abstract
Nanoparticles (NPs)exhibituniquechemicalandphysicalpropertiesthatdependontheirsize,shape, and environment.NPsareemergingasnewtoolsandtechniquesintheanalyticalstudyofvarious materials andinthebiologicalandbiomedical fields, becauseoftheiruniqueproperties.Therefore,the quantitativeandqualitativecharacterizationofNPshasgatheredincreasinginterest.Additionally,the NPs arebeingusedinrapidlydevelopingtechniquestoprovidehighlysensitiveandspecific analysis of variousmaterials.Capillaryelectrophoresis(CE)hasbeendemonstratedasausefulanalyticaltoolforthe characterizationofNPsandfortheevaluationofbiologicalandbiomedicalstudiesusingNPsbecause of its simplesamplepreparationandefficient resolutionofadiversesizerangeofcompounds.Thispaper givesashortoverviewoftheanalysisandapplicationsofNPsinCEsystems,withanemphasison biological andbiomedicalstudies
