Abstract
We successfully manufactured microcellular carbons with a honeycombed channel structure using the freeze-dried PS cryogel template by virtue of the high carbonization yield and homogenous adsorbed of PAA. The structured microcellular carbons showed a high specific surface area of 2443 m2/g and high micropore volume of 0.90 cm3/g. The nanoporous carbon materials has broad applicability for electronic and energy storage materials.
