Abstract
Due to the recent increase in the number of elderly in the demography, nerve degenerative diseases are on the increase. Stem cell therapy has been one of the chosen methods to treat nerve degenerative diseases. But these studies have been limited by the low survival rate of transplanted cells. Overcoming this limitation is very important for cell therapy. For this reason, researches in transplanting cells in spheroid form are under way. In this paper, we developed a 3D slope type electrode to make multiple contacts with cell spheroid. Our new 3D sloped electrode can be used to obtain the differentiation state of the stem cell spheroid by measuring the impedance. Also we plan to acquire the neural signal characteristics of the differentiated spheroid in the future.
