Abstract
Engineering photocatalysts to harness vast sunlight and split water into hydrogen and commodity chemicals is crucial for artificial photosynthesis. Recently, in Advanced Energy Materials, Vignolo-Gonz?lez et al. demonstrated a new hybrid photocatalyst through morphology engineering: a 0D light harvester combined with a 2D co-catalyst to enhance the efficiency of photocatalytic water splitting.
