Abstract
A lab-scale of food wastewater (FWW) treatment system applied four kinds of Bacillus species (B. subtilis, B. licheniformis, B. thuringiensis and B. mycoides) was evaluated as one of the promised FWW treatment process. Four different Bacillus species were dominated in the system and the organic matter removal efficiency was 92.7% in COD indicating that applying microorganisms can degrade organic matter effectively. Soil conditioner was obtained through drying produced sludge including Bacillus species. Our result could suggest that FWW treatment using Bacillus species is a promising option for treating FWW eco-friendly.
