Abstract
A multi-year national R&D project, called the GAMSUNG Engineering project was conducted. Overall goal of the project is to develop measuring and analyzing methodology for human sensibility (emotion) objectively and product application technology that are appealing to human emotion. In order to realize a Gamsung product, CAE tools were developed for analyzing various human comfort measures. Before a physical mock up of a product is produced, a CAD model is displayed and manipulated by a user virtually, called virtual prototyping, and the user may evaluate the product in terms of various human-product interface and articulate his/her preferences to the designer.
