<dcvalue element="description" qualifier="abstract">We&#x20;investigate&#x20;a&#x20;negative&#x20;capacitance&#x20;SIS&#x20;phase&#x20;shifter&#x20;with&#x20;ferroelectric&#x20;materials&#x20;for&#x20;low-power&#x20;optical&#x20;switching.&#x20;Negative&#x20;capacitance&#x20;can&#x20;realize&#x20;comparable&#x20;charge&#x20;with&#x20;lower&#x20;voltage&#x20;owing&#x20;to&#x20;the&#x20;charge&#x20;polarization&#x20;of&#x20;ferroelectric&#x20;materials.&#x20;We&#x20;discuss&#x20;the&#x20;charge&#x20;enhancement,&#x20;modulation&#x20;efficiency&#x20;and&#x20;switching&#x20;characteristic&#x20;of&#x20;this&#x20;device.</dcvalue>
