<dcvalue element="description" qualifier="abstract">Highly&#x20;aligned&#x20;carbon&#x20;nanotube&#x20;(CNT)&#x20;sheets&#x20;have&#x20;been&#x20;successfully&#x20;applied&#x20;to&#x20;a&#x20;number&#x20;of&#x20;interesting&#x20;devices&#x20;because&#x20;of&#x20;their&#x20;distinctive&#x20;properties.&#x20;In&#x20;this&#x20;paper,&#x20;aligned&#x20;CNT&#x20;sheets&#x20;were&#x20;fabricated&#x20;and&#x20;their&#x20;orientation-dependent&#x20;impedance&#x20;properties&#x20;were&#x20;investigated&#x20;in&#x20;detail.&#x20;Perpendicularly&#x20;aligned&#x20;CNT&#x20;sheets&#x20;showed&#x20;both&#x20;resistive&#x20;and&#x20;capacitive&#x20;responses,&#x20;which&#x20;differed&#x20;from&#x20;those&#x20;of&#x20;horizontally&#x20;aligned&#x20;CNT&#x20;sheets.&#x20;Moreover,&#x20;CNT-CNT&#x20;junction&#x20;dominant&#x20;electrical&#x20;transport&#x20;is&#x20;discussed,&#x20;and&#x20;a&#x20;new&#x20;concept&#x20;for&#x20;a&#x20;capacitive-impedance&#x20;sensor&#x20;is&#x20;also&#x20;demonstrated.&#x20;This&#x20;work&#x20;contributes&#x20;to&#x20;better&#x20;understanding&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;orientation-dependent&#x20;impedance&#x20;characteristics&#x20;of&#x20;aligned&#x20;CNT&#x20;sheets,&#x20;and&#x20;should&#x20;facilitate&#x20;practical&#x20;applications.&#x20;(C)&#x20;2020&#x20;Elsevier&#x20;B.V.&#x20;All&#x20;rights&#x20;reserved.</dcvalue>
