<dcvalue element="description" qualifier="abstract">Soft,&#x20;ultrathin&#x20;frameworks&#x20;nonlinearly&#x20;organized&#x20;in&#x20;tandem&#x20;are&#x20;presented&#x20;to&#x20;realize&#x20;both&#x20;reversible&#x20;and&#x20;pluripotent&#x20;wetting&#x20;on&#x20;topographic&#x20;surfaces.&#x20;A&#x20;design&#x20;rule&#x20;is&#x20;introduced&#x20;by&#x20;establishing&#x20;and&#x20;proving&#x20;the&#x20;theoretical&#x20;model&#x20;upon&#x20;hierarchical&#x20;textures.&#x20;Nonlinear&#x20;frameworks&#x20;can&#x20;be&#x20;conformally&#x20;and&#x20;reversibly&#x20;wet&#x20;upon&#x20;complex&#x20;topography&#x20;in&#x20;nature,&#x20;thereby&#x20;overcoming&#x20;the&#x20;wetting&#x20;problems&#x20;in&#x20;previous&#x20;conventional&#x20;solid&#x20;systems.</dcvalue>
