<dcvalue element="description" qualifier="abstract">In&#x20;this&#x20;work,&#x20;anode-supported&#x20;protonic&#x20;ceramic&#x20;fuel&#x20;cell&#x20;(PCFC)&#x20;with&#x20;thin&#x20;yttrium&#x20;doped&#x20;barium&#x20;zirconate&#x20;(BZY)&#x20;is&#x20;fabricated&#x20;using&#x20;pulsed&#x20;laser&#x20;deposition&#x20;(PLD).&#x20;For&#x20;highly&#x20;dense&#x20;and&#x20;thin&#x20;electrolyte&#x20;film&#x20;growth,&#x20;anode&#x20;functional&#x20;layer&#x20;and&#x20;anode&#x20;interlayer&#x20;are&#x20;deposited&#x20;on&#x20;porous&#x20;anode&#x20;support&#x20;by&#x20;electrostatic&#x20;slurry&#x20;spray&#x20;deposition&#x20;and&#x20;PLD,&#x20;respectively.&#x20;As&#x20;a&#x20;result,&#x20;high&#x20;open&#x20;circuit&#x20;voltage&#x20;of&#x20;0.98&#x20;V&#x20;is&#x20;obtained&#x20;after&#x20;anode&#x20;reduction&#x20;at&#x20;600°C,&#x20;indicating&#x20;that&#x20;the&#x20;fabricated&#x20;BZY&#x20;electrolyte&#x20;effectively&#x20;blocks&#x20;gas&#x20;permeation.&#x20;Electrochemical&#x20;performance&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;PCFC&#x20;is&#x20;obtained&#x20;with&#x20;peak&#x20;power&#x20;densities&#x20;of&#x20;55-171&#x20;mW&#x2F;cm2&#x20;at&#x20;an&#x20;operating&#x20;temperature&#x20;regime&#x20;of&#x20;450-600°C.&#x20;？&#x20;The&#x20;Electrochemical&#x20;Society.</dcvalue>
