<dcvalue element="description" qualifier="abstract">Palladium&#x20;particles&#x20;were&#x20;simply&#x20;synthesized&#x20;using&#x20;1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium&#x20;hexafluorophosphate&#x20;([Hmim][PF6]).&#x20;The&#x20;morphology&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;particles&#x20;was&#x20;significantly&#x20;affected&#x20;by&#x20;the&#x20;ionic&#x20;liquid.&#x20;Palladium&#x20;was&#x20;impregnated&#x20;on&#x20;a&#x20;carbon&#x20;powder&#x20;for&#x20;hexafluoropropylene&#x20;hydrogenation&#x20;catalysts.&#x20;Catalytic&#x20;activity&#x20;was&#x20;varied&#x20;by&#x20;the&#x20;calcination&#x20;temperature.&#x20;Under&#x20;the&#x20;identical&#x20;conditions,&#x20;the&#x20;catalyst&#x20;prepared&#x20;using&#x20;the&#x20;ionic&#x20;liquid&#x20;after&#x20;calcined&#x20;at&#x20;500&#x20;degrees&#x20;C&#x20;was&#x20;the&#x20;most&#x20;active&#x20;in&#x20;this&#x20;reaction.</dcvalue>
