<dcvalue element="description" qualifier="abstract">The&#x20;light&#x20;intensity&#x20;distribution&#x20;in&#x20;front&#x20;space&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;display&#x20;panel&#x20;in&#x20;the&#x20;contact-type&#x20;multiview&#x20;3D&#x20;imaging&#x20;systems&#x20;is&#x20;measured&#x20;to&#x20;visualize&#x20;viewing&#x20;zone&#x20;characteristics&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;systems.&#x20;It&#x20;allows&#x20;comparing&#x20;visually&#x20;the&#x20;optical&#x20;characteristics&#x20;of&#x20;two&#x20;possible&#x20;optical&#x20;configurations&#x20;such&#x20;as&#x20;radial&#x20;and&#x20;parallel&#x20;in&#x20;the&#x20;systems.&#x20;The&#x20;distribution&#x20;insure&#x20;that&#x20;the&#x20;light&#x20;field&#x20;from&#x20;each&#x20;pixel&#x20;cell&#x20;is&#x20;mixed&#x20;with&#x20;those&#x20;from&#x20;other&#x20;pixel&#x20;cells&#x20;as&#x20;a&#x20;consequence&#x20;no&#x20;images&#x20;viewed&#x20;at&#x20;different&#x20;areas&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;viewing&#x20;zone&#x20;have&#x20;the&#x20;same&#x20;pixel&#x20;compositions&#x20;as&#x20;others.&#x20;It&#x20;also&#x20;reveals&#x20;that&#x20;the&#x20;light&#x20;field&#x20;for&#x20;the&#x20;parallel&#x20;configuration&#x20;has&#x20;almost&#x20;the&#x20;same&#x20;characteristics&#x20;as&#x20;that&#x20;for&#x20;either&#x20;side&#x20;along&#x20;the&#x20;parallel&#x20;plane&#x20;to&#x20;the&#x20;display&#x20;panel,&#x20;which&#x20;is&#x20;at&#x20;the&#x20;viewing&#x20;distance&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;radial&#x20;configuration.</dcvalue>
