<dcvalue element="description" qualifier="abstract">Pure&#x20;crystalline&#x20;doped&#x20;Li1.1V0.9O2&#x20;powder&#x20;was&#x20;prepared.&#x20;The&#x20;specific&#x20;charge&#x2F;discharge&#x20;capacities&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;doped&#x20;Li1.1V0.9O2&#x20;anodes&#x20;were&#x20;more&#x20;than&#x20;double&#x20;of&#x20;those&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;bare&#x20;Li1.1V0.9O2&#x20;anodes,&#x20;especially&#x20;at&#x20;high&#x20;C-rates.&#x20;The&#x20;main&#x20;origin&#x20;of&#x20;such&#x20;capacities&#x20;was&#x20;revealed&#x20;to&#x20;be&#x20;the&#x20;increase&#x20;in&#x20;electronic&#x20;conductivity&#x20;upon&#x20;doping&#x20;due&#x20;to&#x20;the&#x20;extra&#x20;free&#x20;electron.&#x20;(C)&#x20;2012&#x20;Elsevier&#x20;B.&#x20;V.&#x20;All&#x20;rights&#x20;reserved.</dcvalue>
