<dcvalue element="description" qualifier="abstract">ZnO&#x20;nanostructures&#x20;were&#x20;formed&#x20;on&#x20;Al-doped&#x20;ZnO&#x20;(AZO)&#x2F;Ag&#x2F;AZO-multilayer-film-coated&#x20;flexible&#x20;polyethersulfone&#x20;(PES)&#x20;substrates&#x20;at&#x20;low&#x20;temperature&#x20;by&#x20;using&#x20;an&#x20;electrochemical&#x20;deposition&#x20;method.&#x20;The&#x20;resistivity&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;AZO&#x2F;Ag&#x2F;AZO&#x20;multilayer&#x20;films&#x20;decreased&#x20;with&#x20;increasing&#x20;thickness&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;Ag&#x20;film.&#x20;X-ray&#x20;diffraction&#x20;patterns&#x20;for&#x20;the&#x20;ZnO&#x20;nanostructures&#x20;showed&#x20;that&#x20;the&#x20;crystal&#x20;structure&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;ZnO&#x20;was&#x20;hexagonal&#x20;wurtzite&#x20;and&#x20;that&#x20;the&#x20;orientation&#x20;was&#x20;along&#x20;the&#x20;c-axis&#x20;perpendicular&#x20;to&#x20;the&#x20;substrate.&#x20;Scanning&#x20;electron&#x20;microscopy&#x20;images&#x20;showed&#x20;that&#x20;the&#x20;ZnO&#x20;nanostructures&#x20;grown&#x20;at&#x20;current&#x20;densities&#x20;of&#x20;-1.0&#x20;and&#x20;-1.5&#x20;mA&#x2F;cm(2)&#x20;were&#x20;ZnO&#x20;nanorods&#x20;with&#x20;diameters&#x20;of&#x20;150&#x20;nm&#x20;and&#x20;ZnO&#x20;nanoflowers&#x20;with&#x20;a&#x20;planar&#x20;dimension,&#x20;respectively.&#x20;Photoluminescence&#x20;spectra&#x20;showed&#x20;that&#x20;the&#x20;band-edge&#x20;emission&#x20;peak&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;ZnO&#x20;nanostructures&#x20;dominantly&#x20;appeared&#x20;in&#x20;the&#x20;ultraviolet&#x20;region.&#x20;These&#x20;results&#x20;showed&#x20;that&#x20;ZnO&#x20;nanorods&#x20;and&#x20;nanoflowers&#x20;with&#x20;high&#x20;quality&#x20;were&#x20;synthesized&#x20;on&#x20;AZO&#x2F;Ag&#x2F;AZO-multilayer-film-coated&#x20;PES&#x20;substrates.</dcvalue>
