<dcvalue element="description" qualifier="abstract">In&#x20;the&#x20;future,&#x20;regeneration&#x20;of&#x20;hydrogen&#x20;and&#x20;methanol&#x20;using&#x20;solar&#x20;light,&#x20;are&#x20;appealing&#x20;systems&#x20;in&#x20;the&#x20;point&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;limitation&#x20;of&#x20;fossil&#x20;fuel&#x20;energy&#x20;sources&#x20;in&#x20;earth&#x20;and&#x20;the&#x20;environmental&#x20;problems&#x20;arising&#x20;from&#x20;combustion&#x20;of&#x20;oil&#x20;and&#x20;gas.&#x20;A&#x20;promising&#x20;approach&#x20;is&#x20;to&#x20;mimic&#x20;natural&#x20;photosynthesis&#x20;in&#x20;green&#x20;plants,&#x20;which&#x20;use&#x20;electrons&#x20;from&#x20;water&#x20;oxidation&#x20;to&#x20;reduce&#x20;carbon&#x20;dioxide&#x20;into&#x20;“fuel”.&#x20;In&#x20;this&#x20;paper,&#x20;brief&#x20;introductions&#x20;to&#x20;photosynthesis&#x20;and&#x20;water&#x20;oxidation&#x20;in&#x20;photosystem&#x20;II&#x20;are&#x20;presented,&#x20;in&#x20;addition&#x20;to&#x20;the&#x20;possible&#x20;applications&#x20;of&#x20;modeling&#x20;catalyst&#x20;of&#x20;oxygen&#x20;evolving&#x20;center&#x20;in&#x20;plants.</dcvalue>
