<dcvalue element="description" qualifier="abstract">Triazines&#x20;are&#x20;the&#x20;widely&#x20;used&#x20;herbicides&#x20;and&#x20;they&#x20;can&#x20;be&#x20;introduced&#x20;into&#x20;rivers&#x20;or&#x20;lakes.&#x20;When&#x20;a&#x20;human&#x20;body&#x20;is&#x20;exposed&#x20;to&#x20;triazines,&#x20;nausea,&#x20;vomiting,&#x20;dyspnea&#x20;and&#x20;nephritis&#x20;can&#x20;be&#x20;induced.&#x20;Therefore,&#x20;the&#x20;ability&#x20;to&#x20;detect&#x20;triazine&#x20;by&#x20;qualitative&#x20;analysis&#x20;is&#x20;required.&#x20;In&#x20;this&#x20;study,&#x20;an&#x20;analytical&#x20;method&#x20;for&#x20;10&#x20;triazines&#x20;including&#x20;simazine,&#x20;prometon,&#x20;atrazine,&#x20;propazine,&#x20;terbuthylazine,&#x20;simetryn,&#x20;ametryn,&#x20;prometryn,&#x20;terbutryn&#x20;and&#x20;cyanazine&#x20;was&#x20;investigated.&#x20;Liquid-liquid&#x20;extraction&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;triazines&#x20;from&#x20;human&#x20;urine&#x20;and&#x20;analysis&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;compounds&#x20;using&#x20;gas&#x20;chromatograph-mass&#x20;spectrometry&#x20;(GC-MS)&#x20;and&#x20;liquid&#x20;chromatograph-mass&#x20;spectrometry&#x2F;mass&#x20;spectrometry&#x20;(LC-MS&#x2F;MS)&#x20;were&#x20;conducted.&#x20;In&#x20;the&#x20;case&#x20;of&#x20;urine&#x20;samples,&#x20;extraction&#x20;recoveries&#x20;of&#x20;triazines&#x20;were&#x20;within&#x20;the&#x20;range&#x20;of&#x20;71.99-111.91%.&#x20;The&#x20;calibration&#x20;curves&#x20;showed&#x20;a&#x20;good&#x20;linearity&#x20;(R2&#x20;of&#x20;0.998-0.999)and&#x20;method&#x20;detection&#x20;limits&#x20;of&#x20;all&#x20;the&#x20;analytes&#x20;were&#x20;obtained&#x20;in&#x20;the&#x20;range&#x20;of&#x20;0.10-0.95&#x20;ng&#x2F;mL&#x20;by&#x20;the&#x20;signal&#x20;to&#x20;noise&#x20;method&#x20;(S&#x2F;N&gt;3).&#x20;Instrument&#x20;detection&#x20;limits&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;LC-MS&#x2F;MS&#x20;were&#x20;within&#x20;the&#x20;range&#x20;of&#x20;0.01-0.25&#x20;pg.</dcvalue>
