<dcvalue element="description" qualifier="abstract">The&#x20;performance&#x20;of&#x20;hydrotalcite-like&#x20;catalysts&#x20;in&#x20;propane&#x20;autothermal&#x20;reforming&#x20;for&#x20;hydrogen&#x20;production&#x20;was&#x20;studied&#x20;in&#x20;fixed-bed&#x20;flow&#x20;reactor.&#x20;Hydrotalcite-like&#x20;catalysts&#x20;were&#x20;synthesized&#x20;by&#x20;co-precipitation&#x20;and&#x20;modified&#x20;co-precipitation&#x20;by&#x20;the&#x20;impregnation&#x20;method&#x20;and&#x20;those&#x20;were&#x20;promoted&#x20;by&#x20;the&#x20;addition&#x20;of&#x20;noble&#x20;metals.&#x20;Reaction&#x20;test&#x20;results&#x20;indicated&#x20;that&#x20;hydrotalcite-like&#x20;catalysts&#x20;of&#x20;modified&#x20;method&#x20;were&#x20;showed&#x20;higher&#x20;H-2-yield&#x20;than&#x20;co-precipitation&#x20;method&#x20;because&#x20;surface&#x20;Ni&#x20;particles&#x20;of&#x20;catalysts&#x20;by&#x20;modified&#x20;method&#x20;were&#x20;more&#x20;abundant.&#x20;When&#x20;added&#x20;noble&#x20;metals,&#x20;the&#x20;activity&#x20;was&#x20;enhanced&#x20;because&#x20;the&#x20;size&#x20;of&#x20;nickel&#x20;particles&#x20;was&#x20;decreased&#x20;and&#x20;degree&#x20;of&#x20;dispersion&#x20;was&#x20;increased.&#x20;Also&#x20;the&#x20;carbon&#x20;deposit&#x20;is&#x20;low&#x20;after&#x20;the&#x20;reaction.&#x20;When&#x20;solvent&#x20;of&#x20;solution&#x20;was&#x20;changed,&#x20;activity&#x20;was&#x20;increased.&#x20;It&#x20;is&#x20;because&#x20;degree&#x20;of&#x20;dispersion&#x20;was&#x20;increased.</dcvalue>
