<dcvalue element="description" qualifier="abstract">The&#x20;corrosion&#x20;properties&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;Fe(45-x)Cr(18)M0(14)C(15)B(6)Y(2)M(x)&#x20;(with&#x20;M=Al,&#x20;Co,&#x20;Ni,&#x20;N&#x20;and&#x20;x=0,&#x20;2)&#x20;bulk&#x20;metallic&#x20;glasses&#x20;have&#x20;been&#x20;investigated&#x20;in&#x20;a&#x20;1&#x20;M&#x20;H2SO4+2ppm&#x20;F-&#x20;solution&#x20;at&#x20;80&#x20;degrees&#x20;C&#x20;with&#x20;H-2&#x20;and&#x20;air&#x20;bubbling,&#x20;which&#x20;simulate&#x20;environments&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;polymer&#x20;electrolyte&#x20;membrane&#x20;fuel&#x20;cell.&#x20;The&#x20;partial&#x20;replacement&#x20;of&#x20;2&#x20;at.%&#x20;Fe&#x20;led&#x20;to&#x20;significant&#x20;modification&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;corrosion&#x20;behavior&#x20;and&#x20;resulted&#x20;in&#x20;corrosion&#x20;resistances&#x20;superior&#x20;to&#x20;that&#x20;of&#x20;stainless&#x20;steel.&#x20;(C)&#x20;2006&#x20;Elsevier&#x20;B.V.&#x20;All&#x20;rights&#x20;reserved.</dcvalue>
