The shipping industry is currently using computer and electronic documentation of the carriage of goods by sea. This paper studies the electronic bill of lading about legal aspect and make a law in specialization with electronic bill of lading. A bill of lading that was made from paper has been the target of criticism, what is called‘the crisis of bill of lading’ these years for several reasons. It is time-consuming, costly and open to fraud. There are many ways to break a？the crisis of bill of lading.’ This Study will examine overview electronic bill of lading's law for application in the world. There are two ways to legalize the electronic bill of lading. The one way is to create the provisions of the ‘Korean Commercial Code’ in connection with electronic bill of lading. Stipulation the provision regarding the issuance of electronic bill of lading may not settle the crisis of bill of lading incompletely. It takes a long time and complexity for us the revision of the ‘Korean Commercial Code’ than enacting a special act. The other is to, it is desirable for us to enact the special act relating to the electronic bill of lading. Furthermore, it is best way to bring a solution to get rid of the problem of bill of lading and rule for electronic bill of lading. It is possible to rule for including all situations relevant electronic bill of lading in detail. No other ways more effective than make independent act or code in specialization on the electronic bill of lading. Finally, this Paper proposes and introduces a steady stream of constructive individual law for electronic bill of lading and e-trade.
