<dcvalue element="description" qualifier="abstract">The&#x20;preparation&#x20;of&#x20;silver&#x20;nanoparticles&#x20;by&#x20;the&#x20;reduction&#x20;of&#x20;AgNO3&#x20;with&#x20;hydrazine&#x20;in&#x20;Igepal&#x20;CO-520&#x2F;cyclohexane&#x20;reverse&#x20;micelle&#x20;solutions&#x20;has&#x20;been&#x20;studied.&#x20;Transmission&#x20;electron&#x20;microscope,&#x20;electron&#x20;diffraction,&#x20;and&#x20;Xray&#x20;diffiraction&#x20;pattern&#x20;analyses&#x20;revealed&#x20;the&#x20;resultant&#x20;particles&#x20;to&#x20;be&#x20;silver.&#x20;The&#x20;average&#x20;size&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;synthesized&#x20;nanoparticles&#x20;first&#x20;increased&#x20;and&#x20;thereafter&#x20;approached&#x20;a&#x20;constant&#x20;value&#x20;with&#x20;increased&#x20;molar&#x20;ratio&#x20;of&#x20;water&#x20;to&#x20;lgepal&#x20;CO&#x20;520&#x20;and&#x20;with&#x20;increasing&#x20;concentration&#x20;of&#x20;AgNO3.</dcvalue>
