<dcvalue element="description" qualifier="abstract">Holey&#x20;Fiber&#x20;(HF)&#x20;technology&#x20;has&#x20;progressed&#x20;rapidly&#x20;in&#x20;recent&#x20;years&#x20;and&#x20;has&#x20;resulted&#x20;in&#x20;the&#x20;development&#x20;of&#x20;a&#x20;wide&#x20;range&#x20;of&#x20;optical&#x20;fibers&#x20;with&#x20;unique&#x20;and&#x20;highly&#x20;useful&#x20;optical&#x20;properties&#x20;including&#x20;endlessly&#x20;single-mode&#x20;guidance,&#x20;and&#x20;high&#x20;optical&#x20;nonlinearity.&#x20;In&#x20;this&#x20;paper&#x20;the&#x20;state-of-the-art&#x20;HF&#x20;technology&#x20;for&#x20;all-optical&#x20;signal&#x20;processing&#x20;devices&#x20;is&#x20;reviewed&#x20;from&#x20;a&#x20;perspective&#x20;of&#x20;possible&#x20;application&#x20;for&#x20;telecommunications.</dcvalue>
