<dcvalue element="description" qualifier="abstract">We&#x20;investigated&#x20;the&#x20;effects&#x20;of&#x20;iron&#x20;content&#x20;variation&#x20;in&#x20;electrodeposited&#x20;CoFePtP&#x20;alloys&#x20;on&#x20;the&#x20;magnetic&#x20;properties&#x20;and&#x20;microstructure.&#x20;At&#x20;an&#x20;iron&#x20;content&#x20;of&#x20;4.3&#x20;at.%,&#x20;the&#x20;CoFePtP&#x20;films&#x20;exhibited&#x20;a&#x20;typical&#x20;hard&#x20;magnetic&#x20;property,&#x20;while&#x20;at&#x20;13.8&#x20;at.%&#x20;a&#x20;soft&#x20;magnetic&#x20;property&#x20;was&#x20;observed.&#x20;The&#x20;preferred&#x20;orientations&#x20;of&#x20;the&#x20;electrodeposited&#x20;films&#x20;changed&#x20;from&#x20;[0&#x20;0&#x20;2]&#x20;to&#x20;[1&#x20;0&#x20;0]&#x20;growth&#x20;direction&#x20;with&#x20;increasing&#x20;iron&#x20;content&#x20;in&#x20;accordance&#x20;with&#x20;magnetic&#x20;property&#x20;variations.&#x20;(C)&#x20;2004&#x20;Elsevier&#x20;B.&#x20;V.&#x20;All&#x20;rights&#x20;reserved.</dcvalue>
