<dcvalue element="description" qualifier="abstract">We&#x20;have&#x20;obtained&#x20;all-optical&#x20;wavelength&#x20;conversion&#x20;over&#x20;the&#x20;range&#x20;of&#x20;60&#x20;nm,&#x20;for&#x20;the&#x20;first&#x20;time,&#x20;using&#x20;a&#x20;gain&#x20;peak&#x20;wavelength-shifted&#x20;semiconductor&#x20;optical&#x20;amplifier&#x20;(SOA)&#x20;integrated&#x20;distributed&#x20;feedback&#x20;laser&#x20;diode.&#x20;The&#x20;broadband&#x20;a&#x20;wavelength&#x20;conversion&#x20;is&#x20;demonstrated&#x20;using&#x20;a&#x20;2.5&#x20;GHz&#x20;pump&#x20;signal.&#x20;The&#x20;response&#x20;of&#x20;a&#x20;10&#x20;GHz&#x20;mode-locked&#x20;pulse&#x20;is&#x20;also&#x20;investigated.</dcvalue>
